We each have our own unique sound.
The human body is the original musical instrument – and it is the only instrument that we all possess!
WHAT’S INTERESTING ABOUT THIS EVENT
Singing elicits a deep response that can affect our very biology. Researchers of the Sahlgrenska Academy at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden discovered that when the choirs they were studying sang together, especially in unison, it took very little time for all heartbeats to synchronize.
MUSE/IQUE is particularly excited to open our doors EARLY to share the MUSE/IQUE Health Fair, a carnival of interactive games and surprises in our inimitable style. Join us at 5pm for a musical exploration of health through the opportunity to match your heartbeat with a song; an optical and auditory illusion designed to challenge the senses; a music therapy jam session -- and so much more!!!
Artistic Director Rachael Worby will narrate our journey and provide her insight into the venue, the repertoire, and the theme.
Like all MUSE/IQUE events, this will feature a multitude of connections across music styles and disciplines.
