Mingling and dining 6pm / Performance 8pm
Whether it is Duke Ellington’s New York state of mind or Jackie Wilson’s Detroit sound, whether it is the sparkling southern splash of James Brown, or the impossible cool of Frank Sinatra’s Vegas, the most memorable moments and places in our lives are always set to music.
Audiences will be treated to the ultimate musical road trip as MUSE/IQUE celebrates and explores our unique American sound.
Continuing MUSE/IQUE’s tradition of creating collaborative experiences that connect the venue environment to the performance, STATES/UNITED will draw inspiration from The Huntington’s vast collections of treasures in American art and history to create a new kind of map of America – one fashioned from thrilling live music performances.
