: All about Elvis Presley and the gospel roots of rock hysteria.

Before there was the hip-swaying, leg-shaking, lip-curling, jumpsuit-donning, drawling, smirking rock ‘n’ roll Elvis of lore, there was a young boy in Memphis who loved gospel.

Meet Artistic Director Rachael Worby and more than fifty powerful singers at Westminster Presbyterian Church for a tribute to the spiritual sounds at the roots of Elvis the man and the music he shared with the world.

Featuring: Miche Braden, The DC6 Singers (for this special performance, they've added three more vocalists to become The DC9), RAISE, Acabella from Academy of Music for the Blind, Pasadena Master Chorale, and band members from the New Christian Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church.

Get the giving mood!
Elvis Presley supported many philanthropic causes throughout his career, especially the arts, education and libraries, with a fondness for children's programs. In this spirit, we're so excited to host a children's book drive to benefit Huntington Hospital. The books collected will be given to children in pediatrics, waiting in the Emergency Department and placed in waiting rooms to help them pass the time. We will graciously accept books that are new or are in like-new or very good condition for a variety of ages, from newborns to 18 years old. If you are able to contribute new books, Huntington Hospital loves activity books for children.

Doors open at 6pm for mingling.
Small bites and libations will be available for purchase.

Music starts at 7pm.
We will enjoy a 70-minute performance with no intermission.
